My People,

I’ve got some great news. I have been accepted to a very prestigious program as part of the FIFA World Cup later this year in Qatar. This means I will spend just over a month living in Qatar and participating in activities to make the World Cup a success. This is a wild dream come true for me and it will give me direct experience with executing the largest sporting and hospitality event in the world.

When I go to Qatar, I will also have the opportunity to explore several countries in the Middle East. I have not yet concluded on the final selection but I have an opportunity to explore the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, and Iran. As you know, this would not just be a fun expedition for me, it will be an opportunity for us to plant our TVP roots in this region and extend our services there. We pride ourselves in being the most colorful travel company in Africa and the Middle East and this just helps reinforce that. At the end of the day, you - my people - will reap the sweet fruits of this lifetime opportunity.

So, I’d like to invite brands and companies to be part of this experience. I’d like to work with sponsors and partners who want their services to reach a wider audience and who want to cater to an audience that is curious and thirsty to see the world. I’d like to invite insurance companies, airlines, hotels, lifestyle brands, technology brands, finance companies…whoever you are, to join me. I will be travelling, exploring, living, and doing my business on the go. I will be working on my daily jobs remotely but also working my World Cup shifts. 1. My team and I were the first to mark the summit post of Nigeria’s highest mountain (Chappal Waddi) with a sign. This mission was so important that CNN sent an international filming crew to document this journey here.

2. I’ve worked to develop resorts and (re)launch hospitality brands. Most recently, I worked as a post COVID-19 consultant for Dusit International; a leading luxury chain of resorts in Asia.

3. In the last 6 years, our team at TVP Adventures has designed travel experiences to over 30 countries of the world for over 3,000 people. Most of them are Nigerians, Africans and Diasporans, who do not usually have travel experiences that meet their needs. I can say that we’ve done a lot to open up Africa to the world and open up the world to Africans.

4. My work and the work of my teams at TVP Adventures and TVP Games have been featured on CNN, BBC, 9News and many more channels.

5. When COVID-19 shut down travel in the world, we quickly pivoted and developed a discovery game that took Nigeria (and the Diaspora) by storm. As a result, we created TVP Games as an offshoot of our travel company. The pandemic should have devastated us, but instead, it inspired us.

6. Our games are the leading games and toys to help adults and children discover the world and many brands including Tik Tok UK, Piggy Vest, Overwood and more have customized our games for their audience.

7. Our Show Me One Thing newsletter has an open rate of 31 - 47%. That’s more than double the average rate of newsletters around the globe. Our audience is committed to the community and the cause of discovery.
