Some people say Egypt is in Africa, others say it is in the Middle East. Which is correct? If the world is divided into continents and countries, how come some countries are found in two continents?
Egypt is just Africa. The Black Skin Descendants went through a lot of Wars before Egypt was conquered. The latest being in the early 1900’s when the French and Arabs armies sent 35,000 soldiers to invade the artifacts of Egypt.
And The Middle East. Is ARABIA countries.
Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Yemen are Middle Easten Arab Countries.
Taking Egypt out of Africa is like taking Rome & Greece out of Europe.
Interesting stuff. I never considered Egypt outside Africa, even though I have identified their economic affiliation with the other Gulf countries. I think the one on Russia was new to me.
• Loss of a major influencer – Egypt is one of the AU’s founding members and a key player in African politics. Its exit would weaken North Africa’s voice in the AU and reduce the union’s connection to the Arab world.
• AU credibility hit – Other members might start questioning the AU’s unity, similar to how Brexit affected the EU’s image.
• Shift in alliances – Egypt might lean more toward Middle East blocs like the Arab League or Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), leaving a gap in African diplomacy.

2. Economic Impact
• Trade patterns – Egypt is a top African economy and a major trade hub (Suez Canal). Exiting could disrupt African free trade agreements and reduce AU leverage in global negotiations.
• Funding loss – Egypt contributes significantly to AU budgets; losing that would strain AU programs.
The middle east name was coined by a white man name . Alfred Thayer Mahan, the celebrated American advocate of naval power. IT DOESN'T EXIST.... Egypt is in Africa that's it that's all.... FACTS👍
It’s disturbing to see the world terraformed to remove Alkebulan as the creators of all the wealth that Europe claims to have done on their own when all they really did was recreate what was already there. Pyramids were built long before the west claimed to have discovered Pi. Kemet is Egypts true name but West changed the names redrawn the borders and simply rewrote history.
The Middle East is a very frustrating term. First of all, the middle of the east is actually Central Asia.
Second of all, why are typically middle eastern countries not called west Asia?
There was something in the news recently about Middle East getting its own race category in the census and it boggled my mind. If Middle East gets its own category, surely East Asia and South Asia should have their own category?
Currently South Asia and east Asia are lumped together as asian (which is np with me!) but it doesn’t take a dna test to recognize that south Asians have much more in common with west Asians culturally and physically than we do with East Asians. The only reason I can think of for this is racism in Arab countries not wanting to be associated with south Asians.
All in all, I think it’s time to distinguish regions in Asia by geography and culture accurately: East Asia, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, northwest Asia, west Asia.

You should consider now
Yes, they belong to both just as you explained in your post.
My take:
If they feel more as Middle East maybe they should officially leave the African Union.
Russia doesn't pertske in EU matter & may not necessarily identify as one.
What about Turkey??? 😁

Cool stuff. Great read and interesting insights
Thanks for this piece, Funmi. I'd love to ask that could the CONTINENTAL DRIFT have affected the regions and continents
